Description
In this message from our series **To the Ends of the Earth**, we reflect on the life of **St. Verena**, a young Coptic woman from Upper Egypt whose holiness, love, prayer, and service helped bring the light of Christ to Switzerland.
St. Verena reminds us that mission does not always begin with preaching. Sometimes it begins with holiness. It begins with receiving Christ deeply, being formed by the Word of God, being discipled in the life of the Church, and then carrying Christ to the poor, the sick, the lonely, and the forgotten.
During the Apostles Fast, we are reminded that the Book of Acts is not over. The Holy Spirit is still working in the Church, and each of us is called to continue the mission of Christ in our homes, workplaces, communities, and world.
