The Macca 720 GT-MX from Race Sim Studio is based on the McLaren 720S GT3X — a version of the 720S GT3 race car with the rules completely removed.
No Balance of Performance. No power restrictions. No homologation limits.
What you’re left with is something that looks like a GT3 car… but doesn’t behave like one.
In this video, I take the GT3X out to Oulton Park to see what happens when a familiar platform is pushed beyond the boundaries of regulated racing. More power, less weight, and a driving experience that sits somewhere between GT3 and something else entirely.
This is the second entry in RSS’s “X” series, following the Porsche Rennsport — and it continues the idea of exploring what race cars could be without constraints.
