At Hen House, the chicken shawarma comes loaded with toum, pickles, and crispy fries, finished with a final swipe of garlic sauce and a shower of pomegranate molasses. Owner Tony calls this Lebanese-style shawarma his own death row meal, and it's easy to see why, from the crispy grilled edges to the "sauce of the gods." The shop also went viral for its kafta pancake, a last-minute invention that ended up saving the business.
