Description
With Graham Platner’s exit from the Maine Senate race last week, The Atlantic’s Adam Harris said that part of the issue is that Democrats were “learning the wrong lesson from 2020 and 2024.”
Harris added that with Platner, Democrats were looking for the “prototypical candidate” who could win back isolated white male voters they may have thought they lost to President Donald Trump, “as opposed to sort of understanding a policy preference that voters might be thinking of.”
