The Applicant is a five-minute Tropfest comedy that starts as an awkward job interview and spirals into something far stranger, one loose thread away from a reveal you won't see coming. Written by Chris Corbett and directed by Tim Dean, it stars Peter Rowsthorn (Kath & Kim) opposite Nicholas Bell in a performance that gets more unsettling with every question.
