Calling all filmmakers! The Sony Future Filmmaker Awards 2027 have just launched - and we want to see YOUR short films!
Now in their 5th year, the free-to-enter Awards are bigger than ever.
The filmmakers behind 34 shortlisted films will be flown to Los Angeles to attend a four-day industry program on the Sony Pictures Studios lot to help elevate their careers. You will learn from Sony Pictures executives through workshops, masterclasses, panel discussions, screenings, demos, tours and Q&As.
The week ends with a bang at a red carpet Awards ceremony, a perfect opportunity to network with fellow filmmakers and industry experts.

This year, the Awards introduced a brand new Immersive category, presented by Meta, celebrating how immersive formats expand the way we experience storytelling.
