Description
If your sweep picking keeps getting tangled up because your pick has to cross back over a string, try this. Instead of forcing another pick stroke, let your fretting hand do the work with a well-timed hammer-on. Since that finger is already moving, you can match the volume of the picked notes and keep the phrase sounding smooth, fluid, and effortless. In this first lesson, I’ll demonstrate the concept using a simple D-shape triad so you can start applying it to your own sweep patterns immediately.
