* Ovid clearly continues the broken-off Critias fragment of Plato, but without any mention of 'Atlantis', as I discover.
* The Flood was set up by Jupiter to remove and replace the earlier wicked high-tech, and violent giants who could move mountains and soften stone.
* The final surviving giants after the flood created the modern humans by 'softening stone'.
* The gods enacted the flood as they were terrified by the wickedness of the giants and their magical skills.
* The plan was to set up new types of human.
* Earth was created to fit the form that the seed of mankind was supposed to require. Thus the Earth is holy and created just for Earth.
* The pyramids seem to be observation engines of the 'gods', IE they hall is at the 'center of the world', fits Asian legends of Mt Meru.
