I've been running robot mowers for years, including the Navimow I series and the Luba 2, but now it's time to see what the new Segway Navimow X4 can do.
In this video, I share my first impressions after putting the X4 to work around the Holmes Hobby House. The cutting performance is excellent, it handles rough terrain surprisingly well, and the hardware feels like a major step forward.
That said, no mower is perfect. The X4 is currently a little too cautious in some situations, and I'm still working through a few connectivity issues and setup quirks. Hopefully future software updates will help unlock even more of its potential.
Overall, though, I'm impressed. The X4 has a lot going for it, and it may become one of my favorite robot mowers yet.
