The Last of Us 3: NEW UPDATE (NAUGHTY DOG)
So, 6 years after The Last of Us 2 and its ending, we've already got confirmation that The Last of Us Part 3 is very likely coming from Naughty Dog, as Neil Druckmann creator of The Last of Us confirmed in the Grounded II Documentary that there’s one more chapter to the story of The Last of Us, which will be The Last of Us Part 3! Naughty Dog is working on multiple new single-player projects, notably first Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, and likely a brand new Uncharted! "The Last of Us 3" will likely have the return of Abby and Ellie. The Last of Us 2 ending clearly sets up The Last of Us Part III the sequel. Troy Baker recently discussed that we have not seen the last of Joel Miller and talked about some stories he could see in The Last of Us. Also, we got a potential storyline that could be brought into The Last of Us Part 3. Even Ashley Johnson & Laura Bailey discussed their characters Ellie & Abby and what they'd like to see for their futures. Could we even see potential spin-offs in the world of The Last of Us? Remember, The Last of Us 2 director Neil Druckmann has talked about its potential and that there is a plot written for The Last of Us 3. He doesn't yet have a story planned for a sequel, but he does "have a concept" for another game that will be its own thing and will also "act like a through-line for all three."
