Description
Lil Durk had a big court hearing today in LA. The judge wasn't too happy with the feds and grilled prosecutors hard, saying they still hadn’t given a good reason why he shouldn’t split the counts and questioning why they waited so long.
In a tense session before Judge Michael W. Fitzgerald, Durk’s team argued to sever (or drop) the new racketeering charges the government added late in the game.
The Defense thanked the judge after the hearing in a public statement for taking his time and going through the motions thoroughly and mentioning that these delays were unfair to the defense who wants the original LA case to stay on track for August 20 while the new Chicago-related counts get their own trial. Ruling expected by end of day.
