The incredible story of the Cash Landrum UFO incident

RED STONE Guide 29 days ago

Description

Three people driving through the dark woods of East Texas encountered something that would change their lives forever. What they saw that night remains one of the most compelling and terrifying UFO incidents in American history.

Betty Cash, Vickie Landrum, and Vickie's 7-year-old grandson Colby were driving home to Dayton, Texas when they came across a massive diamond-shaped UFO hovering just above the treetops. The object was expelling flames from its base and emitting intense heat so powerful that it made the metal of their car painfully hot to the touch . When Vickie touched the dashboard to steady herself, she left a handprint behind .

But what happened next is even stranger. As the UFO ascended, 23 military helicopters appeared and surrounded it in tight formation . The witnesses later identified some of them as Boeing CH-47 Chinooks—helicopters used by the U.S. military . Yet when investigators asked the government about these helicopters, they were met with complete denial. No branch of the military would admit to having aircraft in that area that night .

The aftermath was devastating. All three witnesses suffered from severe radiation poisoning—nausea, hair loss, blisters, and reddening of the eyes . Betty Cash was hospitalized and her doctor called it a "textbook case" of radiation exposure, comparable to being "three to five miles from the epicenter of Hiroshima" .

The Cash-Landrum incident is one of the very few UFO cases to result in civil court proceedings . Despite years of investigation by MUFON, NASA aerospace engineer John Schuessler, and even the U.S. Army Inspector General, no official explanation has ever been given .

To this day, there is no conclusive explanation for what happened that night. Was it an experimental military craft? An alien spacecraft? Or something else entirely?
