In this series, we look at seven different carbon monoxide alarms, UL 2034 alarm timing, low-level CO monitors, and why some carbon monoxide alarms may not warn right away. In Part 2, the alarms will be exposed to real carbon monoxide (with Solo C6) to compare how each reacts. Carbon monoxide is a deadly, colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas that can leak into homes, hotels, and other buildings without warning. This series is meant to spread awareness about the danger of CO, show why proper detection matters, and help explain the difference between standard carbon monoxide alarms and low-level CO monitors.
