Caught on Dash Cam is a clip show is a fun look at the world of driving through the lens of dash cams, CCTV cameras, phones and go-pros of motorists and pedestrians from across the planet.
Stupidity
The first theme we explore is stupidity, firstly trying to define what makes a stupid driver. We look at a few clips to support this and this is followed by a series of clips looking at driving causing the most amount of chaos through their bad driving and ignorance. Then we look at a range of different incidents and moments caused by drivers acting stupidly. This includes people just losing control for no reason, changing lanes randomly and generally causing chaos. Then we count down our 5 favourite moments of stupidity.
As an interlude before we go to the angry top 5 we look at the positive side of human nature with clips of people helping each. This includes clips of people stopping to help older pedestrians cross the road, giving keys back that have been left in the boot, or getting food for a homeless person and his dog.
Then back to anger with our top five favourite angry moments.
Lucky
Next up is those lucky drivers who seem to defy everything and escape unscathed. This includes clips of incredible near misses where cars lose control and swerve all over the place but don’t crash, pedestrians who end up in the middle of accidents but don’t get hurt, cyclists getting hit by trucks and survive and so on. We finish with our top 5 favourite lucky moments that include a truck that almost tips over but manages to right itself before veering off the road into a field and a car that gets absolute smashed by a truck but the driver climbs out of the shattered vehicle unscathed!
