In this video I share a helpful tip to help diagnose a leaking A/C service port. It involves simply poring a little bit of refrigerant oil into the service port and checking for air bubbles. If air bubbles are produced then the service port is leaking and should be repaired or replaced.
Warning! Working on A/C systems can be dangerous. Refrigerant can be hazardous if you come into contact with it. Please reference the material safety data sheet, MSDS, for the refrigerant you are working with.
