Description
SLC-IAD: Nice to be back on a 737 MAX 8, especially one with TVs. As with SLC, the takeoff run was long but we made it into the air with the typically quick right turn to head north over the Great Salt Lake.
After around 3.5 hours, we started our descent into Washington DC and boy was it was bumpy one. It seems to be a trend for IAD; my last arrival on a 767-400 was also very bumpy and a hard landing. My son threw up and I heard at least 2 others in the rows around me doing the same; wasn't a great experience. I was also disappointed in United as I asked for a couple of extra snacks for my kids and the flight attendant said they didn't have enough for the rest of the passengers. When I fly Delta, they gladly hand over extra snacks when requested. Note to self, snack up at the airport.
Apologies for some audio issues, thanks for your understanding.
