This is a video that I should have created long ago. In 2017, @FlySWISS bid farewell to its last 'Jumbolino' Avro RJ100/RJ86 or BAe 146. This aircraft holds a special place in aviation history, and it's personally significant to me as well. It was on a Crossair Avro Jumbolino that I took my very first flight as a 9-year-old, from LUG to ZRH.
I delved into my archives and carefully selected shots of the Avro that would craft a fitting farewell tribute. And here it is, albeit a bit delayed, but I sincerely hope that you'll still enjoy this fond look back at this remarkable aircraft and its legacy.
