ZRH-PRG: Welcome back on board the Swiss A350 in the lovely Wanderlust scheme. This is my third time on the Swiss A350, and my second time in "Swiss Senses" Business Class.
The day did not start off very well, with a long delay before pushing back. However, I wasn't complaining for two reasons: more time in my comfy seat watching a movie, and I would be returning on this same plane, so there was no risk of missing a connection.
Since it was November, it was a crisp morning, which took us out to the deicing pad and caused an even longer departure delay. Taxiing over to the deicing pad took us close to Terminal E, which was packed with long-haul aircraft that had arrived from their overnight journeys. The deicing process was cool to watch as they painted the wings and other external components with orange juice :).
After running over an hour behind schedule, we were finally on the runway listening to the engines rev up for takeoff. There was very little to complain about regarding the views after takeoff, with the frosty fields and low-level fog in the surrounding valleys. Once we made the 180-degree left turn, the sun lit up the engines, casting a bright orange glow on the Swiss flag winglets.
