Today was an extraordinary day for Captain Fabian Schurtenberger of @FlySWISS
After a remarkable career that began with Crossair on the Saab 340 and the Jumbolino, he spent the last 7 years at the helm of the mighty Boeing 777-300ER.
His final flight on duty, SFO-ZRH, marked the end of an era, and First Officer Kevin Fuchs and the entire crew organized a heartwarming surprise for his retirement. The famous water salute by Schutz & Rettung Zürich and the incredible teamwork of the Aporn Control ZRH (Marshaller) culminated in a truly outstanding display to bid Captain Fabian Schurtenberger farewell.
