Rick Veitch has created influential comics from Swamp Thing to Brat Pack, Ninja Turtles to Supreme. But DC unceremoniously cancelled his Swamp Thing run at the last minute with a finished issue fans have wanted to see for over 30 years. This Spring, DC is publishing it and Rick discusses the story behind Swamp Thing, his art education as the first graduating class at the Joe Kubert School, how Will Eisner influenced his interest in educational comics, and his thoughts on where AI will take comics.
