Strange Fruit Episode 4 | The Master's Chair - A Black Horror Anthology

Dutch Jackson Podcast 1 months ago

Description

"Too many innocent souls were taken here... the universe had to even out. And this house... was the scale."

📍 Rural Georgia, 1859. Silas Finch, a cruel and greedy southern planter, receives a mysterious, elegant wax-sealed invitation to buy the legendary Crowe estate. The land is worth hundreds of thousands, and Silas smells an easy fortune. Bringing his observant, nervous teenage son Elijah, Silas steps into the sprawling, white-columned Greek Revival mansion expecting eccentric luxury.

He doesn't know Mr. Crowe has been dead and buried for years. He doesn't know the letters were written and sent by the enslaved quarters. And he doesn't know the terrible, blood-red rule of the house: For every evil soul the wood consumes, one innocent trapped inside is set free.

Locked inside as the sun goes down, Silas is drawn to Mr. Crowe's private study. There, he is forced into the Master's Chair—and forced to physically relive every lash of the whip, every blister of the fields, and every burn of the brand felt by the souls used to build the house. Before the chair lets him die, his body physically manifests their suffering... and his soul is sent back into the fields, reborn to suffer the very cycle he defended.

Over. And over. And over again.
