Description
After surviving the trauma of nearly drowning, Petalkit is separated from her family in exile. Mapleshade, blinded by rage and grief, believes Petalkit dead with her brothers and pursues vengeance. Unaware of Mapleshade's murderous rampage, Petalkit desperately searches for her mother. When she spots Mapleshade in the distance, Petalkit is bewildered to see her father, Appledusk, attacking her mother. By the time she reaches them, it’s already over. The only thing left for Petalkit was a trail of blood, which she followed to her mother’s lifeless body. Now Petalkit has nothing left but her hatred.
