Brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate, two of the world’s most polarizing social media influencers who are known for promoting misogyny and flashy displays of wealth, face possible extradition to the U.K., which has leveled new rape and sex trafficking charges against them.
The U.S. Marshals Service arrested the Tates in Miami on Saturday and took them into custody on a sealed warrant. The Tates, who have British and American citizenship and moved to Romania in 2016, have since been detained and are scheduled to appear in U.S. federal court on Monday.
