Welcome to The Sewing Room Channel! In this tutorial, I demonstrate how to assemble an acorn quilt block and finish it as a beautiful decorative pillow. You can customize this project using cotton batting with quilting stitches or keep it simple with lightweight interfacing.

Acorn: 1/8 yard or fat quarters
Bottom: (9) 2 1/2" squares
Top: (1) 2 1/2" square
(1) 2 1/2" x 10 1/2"
Background: 1/4 yard
(4) 2 1/2" squares
(2) 2 1/2" x 6 1/2"
(2) 2 1/2" x 4 1/2"
(2) 2 1/2" x 10 1/2"
(2) 14 1/2" x 2 1/2"
(2) 1 1/2" x 2 1/2"
Pillow Back: fat quarter or 1/4 yard
(1) 14 1/2" square
Cotton Batting: 1/2 yard
Poly-fil: 1 bag
