Revving up for a historic weekend 🏁
San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance recently traveled to North Carolina for a firsthand look inside 23XI Racing's Airspeed facility ahead of NASCAR's first-ever race in San Diego at Naval Base Coronado.
The visit offered an early look at the work behind a partnership built around a shared goal: reaching people in new ways and inviting them into the conversation around wildlife and conservation. On race weekend, 23XI Racing's four stock cars will each feature the markings of a different big cat from the Zoo—leopard, cheetah, tiger, and jaguar—connecting fans on the track to the species we work to protect.
This partnership is a chance to bring the community together, from military families and longtime San Diegans to race fans alike, with the opportunity to experience the San Diego Zoo alongside the energy of NASCAR.
