Community leaders and business owners gathered Monday morning to celebrate the completion of a major revitalization project along Sacramento’s historic Franklin Boulevard corridor. The Franklin Boulevard Complete Streets Project transformed approximately 1.5 miles of the boulevard between Sutterville Road and 32nd Avenue. The improvements include smoother streets, no more potholes, protected bicycle lanes, widened sidewalks, traffic-calming measures, improved pedestrian access, expanded landscaping and additional trees.
