I started this track months back, I imagined Ragatha having a nightmare about abstracting. I considered the idea of different forms of abstracting, that everyone sees something different when they feel their sense of self pulling into the void. Ragatha just happens to hear a Jersey beat EDM track as shadows of her insecurities mock her.
I tried a lot of new things with this track, learned what sidechaining is (again), and applied a much more extreme volume automation to give this the pulsing sound that i thiiiink makes you feel the crazy she’s feeling. Definitely mostly focused on making it fun to listen to than telling a concrete story.
