Roundhouse Cement Floors and 13 inch Gauge Shop Railway.

Today we are putting in the cement floors and a 13 inch gauge tram in the round house.

We’re making the cement floors out of very thin slices of extruded styrene foam, and embossing some of them with a brick pattern. The bricks are going to be used for setting rails in the floor for a 13 inch gauge tram. The tram will be used for carrying trash out of the building.

I’ve already thought that these little tiny push trams were really fun. The contrast between the wider heavier rail and the tiny little rails for the tram makes a great contrast.!!
