Thanks to advocate pressure, the Senate’s initial draft left out this cruel language—but the fight isn't over. Big Ag is spending millions to add the "Save Our Bacon" Act back into the final bill. If they succeed, calves, mother pigs, and hens across the country could be forced back into tiny cages and crates where they can’t even turn around or stretch their limbs.

Read this simple script to the staffer or leave it on their voicemail: “Hello, my name is [Your Name] and I am a constituent calling to urge my Senator to vote NO on any version of the Farm Bill that includes the Save Our Bacon Act or any similar language. This language threatens our state’s right to regulate health, safety, and ethical standards for products sold within our borders. Thank you.”
