Description
Hunting red deer stags during the rut is one of the most exciting and demanding hunting experiences in Europe.
Searching for an old mature stag during the roaring season is one of the greatest challenges for every hunter. Old stags are extremely cautious, experienced, and unpredictable, especially at the beginning of the rut.
The early stage of the rut is often the best time to encounter a true old monarch of the forest. Mature stags are still holding their territories, gathering hinds, and responding aggressively to rival calls while moving through deep forests, valleys, and mountain slopes.
Every successful stalk during the rut requires patience, experience, perfect timing, and understanding of stag behavior. Sometimes a hunter spends many days listening to roaring stags before finally getting a chance for a close encounter with a truly mature animal.
In this video, you will see real European red deer hunting during the rut — roaring stags, intense emotions, beautiful autumn landscapes, and the unforgettable atmosphere of one of nature’s greatest spectacles.
