Two versions of humanity’s first father stand beneath the same name while representing opposite meanings of creation. Hazbin Hotel’s Adam treats his origin as a crown, using divine status, violence, and spectacle to place himself above the souls descended from him. Record of Ragnarok’s Adam carries that origin as a responsibility, seeing every human life not as property to control, but as family worth protecting.
Their confrontation becomes a trial of counterfeit authority against genuine sacrifice. One Adam hides insecurity beneath profanity, rank, and applause, turning judgment into entertainment so he never has to confront the emptiness behind his halo. The other enters without armor or ceremony, armed only with an unbreakable will and the certainty that a father stands in front of danger rather than sending his children into it.
At its heart, this is a clash between being born first and becoming worthy of that position. Ego demands worship, while love accepts suffering without reward. One leaves behind fear and grief because he needed the world to witness his power. The other leaves behind courage because he was willing to die proving that humanity deserved another dawn.
