Since Cosmic Fury wrapped up in the end of 2023, the show has been in a coma, waiting for a potential reboot. However, by mid-2024, the rumored Netflix reboot of Power Rangers by Jenny Klein and Johnathan Entwistle was cancelled. This reboot had been in the talks since 2020, but the pandemic caused a delay and the creation of Cosmic Fury. The writers and actors' strike of 2023 also caused a major delay into possible reboot, leading to its cancellation.
Fans have experienced a rollercoaster of “We’re so back” to “It’s so over” like 20 times in the last five years. 2025 has brought us the introduction of Playmates and new Mighty Morphin Power Rangers toys with a reimagined line. We got new figures, zords, morphers, weapons, and throwback recreations. There was also the announcement of an AI upscale of the original MMPR series, which worries me a little...
