ranking every type of skating i’ve tried from easiest to hardest 🛼⛸️🏂🛹 this might be a hot take, so i’m curious to see how you’d rank them 👀⬇️
🛹 longboarding: easy, because the board is so forgiving, and the falls aren’t bad🏂 snowboarding: easy-ish, i learned how to do the blue run in 1-2 days, but it’s harder to practice due to lack of access🏒 hockey: intermediate, you have to both learn skating & stick handling skills⛸️ figure skating: hard, very technical and therefore hard to master🛼 artistic inline skating: harder, same as figure skating, but with worse falls🛼 artistic roller skating: hard AF, same as artistic inline skating, but with heavier skates🛹 skateboarding: ???, because i still need someone to teach me lol 👀
