Back in the day when there was a spot to collect shark teeth and it would rain, I would literally stare out the window and watch the drops fall to determine when it was time to leave. That's only effective at close range obviously, but these days its a lot easier with technology. So now I stand by the window with my phone in my hand as I watch the raindrops fall. diva was rushing around getting her stuff ready and da fossz was proselytizing on the goodness of sweet lady cles as he chugged another mug of java. After an uneventful drive we arrived at a muddy mess. We knew it would be that way but the reality of the situation is always worse, especially since it was still raining and cold. Every step where we didn't sink, we slipped. I headed straight for a gigantic pile, and it was not nearly as stable as it looked. I had to try multiple routes to the top, at one point sinking nearly to my waist! I was undeterred and I finally reached the top where I found one tooth. da fossz was scaling the other side of the pile, experiencing the same difficulties as I had during my ascent. Meanwhile, diva was just walking around on the flats scooping up teeth. In retrospect, that seems like the better choice. It took us several hours to cover the entire area and as we were walking out, the rain stopped and the sun peeked through the clouds just in time to go get some mexican and celebrate another fun day in the rain picking up teeth with my homie da fossz and @AncientAdventures
