Description
A good thunderstorm does wonders for fossil hunting, and I happened to show up right as one broke out here in the South Carolina lowcountry. I was waiting for Diva because she had secured the permission for this particular site but she was busy scoring somewhere else so I had to go it alone. Girded by my trusty raincoat and muck boots I headed out into the storm, rain pounding, lightning flashing, and thunder crashing. I've seen Caddyshack, I know what can happen, so when I find something nice I never raise my shovel in victory. I keep a low profile for safety and to see the teeth!
