Protesters attempted to set fire to an American flag doused in lighter fluid today, America's 250th birthday, in Philadelphia, but police pushed into the group wielding batons and confiscated the flag before it could be lit.
Philadelphia Police issued warnings to disperse after breaking the group in half, which initially led to some confusion about whether the half closed into the park was actually free to leave.
"We're talking to the other cop!" a protester pleaded as Philadelphia Police pushed in and arrested several of the would-be flag burners who remained on the sidewalk.
"Everything we did was legal, but they still came and illegally arrested us, threw us to the ground, beat up some of our members, stole our shoes, took some of our bags, for no f***ing reason!" an organizer explained as they walked away. "So join us in marching!"
"There is only one solution, Intifada revolution!"
