When McDonald’s invited Pixie Lott to help reimagine the iconic 'I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)' for Ronald McDonald Houses UK and Ireland, it became something far more than a cover version.
Together with families supported by the charity, Pixie and McDonald’s created 'I’m Gonna Be (79 Miles)', inspired by the average distance families supported by the charity travel to visit their child in hospital.
For families facing long periods away from home, Ronald McDonald House provides free accommodation close to children’s hospitals, helping them stay moments from their child when it matters most.
Featuring newly written lyrics shaped by the real experiences of families supported by the charity, this film and track shine a light on the emotional and physical journeys made every day for love.
All proceeds from the track will go directly to Ronald McDonald House UK and Ireland to help more families stay close to their child in hospital.
