2. English Translation (Meaning)
Chorus:
O priest, do not draw the curtain, let me behold my beloved Radha,
I am running short of time, and I have so much to tell her.
Verse 1:
Let me speak out whatever is going on in my heart,
My entire life is passing by, clinging onto just this one hope.
After enduring immense hardships, my turn to see her has finally arrived,

Verse 2:
Wounded by the sharp arrows (cruelties) of this world, I had collapsed in exhaustion,
But when I regained consciousness, my divine Shyama (Radha) was standing right in front of me.
She held my hand in such a way that I became beautifully intoxicated by her holy name,

I had fallen into the terrifying ocean of worldly existence, yet look how she rescued me!
I haven’t come here on my own accord; it is her divine grace and invitation that brought me here.
