Outgoing Colombian President Gustavo Petro attends the country's Independence Day military parade in Bogota, commemorating the start of Colombia's independence movement against Spanish rule in 1810. Petro, who is set to officially leave office on August 7, has also called nationwide demonstrations later in the day before president-elect Abelardo de la Espriella takes office.
