Description
One day I’ll look back and say “I blinked and they were gone”. Six kids in five years — it’s a lot! It wasn’t planned but that’s just how it happened.
It’s messy and loud. There’s always a couple kids fighting, one or two who needs to be driven somewhere and at all times someone is hungry! There are also moments of laughter and joy, when all the kids are playing a game or jumping on the tramp together and their giggles ring out.
We are learning to serve each other, forgive each other and lean on one another. I’m convinced we are the luckiest because we have each other.
So when things are hard, and they usually are, I hope we can remember that falling in love with life is something we get to choose and then work for.
