Check out this amazing train show in a historic train station, Ogden Utah's Union Station.
After the driving of the Golden Spike at Promontory Utah in 1869 the division point between the Union Pacific and the Central Pacific was moved to Ogden. After the Central Pacific became the Southern Pacific a fabulous depot was constructed with Union Pacific signs on the east end of the station and Southern Pacific signage on the west.
The station is no longer used as a train station however UTA uses the area to the north as the Ogden transportation hub where the "Front Runner" interurban serve the Ogden - Roy area, meaning you can not only see this wonderful train show, you can ride a train to it!
