This poor donkey seemed to have given up when we rescued him.
A body wracked with pain and a face full of suffering and confusion, he seemed resigned to his fate. Old injuries from a lifetime of hard labour and a painful flank wound. How much more could this poor boy take?
But Nuzzle's story didn't end there. Thanks to the love and care of our team, he found healing, safety and a forever home in our sanctuary.
