On July 1, 2026 it was announced that PlayStation physical disc production would cease by January 2028. Oh yeah, the PS3 and PS Vita digitial storefronts are closing as well, but that was another announcement they tried to squeeze in there. Disappointment aside, this video features my thoughts, feelings, and overall opinions on this announcement coupled with the current state of modern gaming.
