Description

‘Nisarga Lahari’ is a dream venture for me in many ways. Since childhood, I have always been filled with spontaneous musical outbursts, no matter where I was. My heart has constantly overflowed with waves of music, and this natural flow of spontaneity—what ‘Nisarga Lahari’ literally means—continues to guide me, shaping even my compositions today. This spontaneity has been my constant strength, the very force that has carried me to the heights I have been blessed to reach.

While ‘Vande Guru Paramparaam’ and the other series are the fruits of organised effort, disciplined practice, and structured preparation, this series is different. Here, it is a spontaneous outburst—something I joyfully receive from the Universal Mother at the very moment of singing. Record it 25 times, and each of those 25 would be entirely different. There are no boundaries here—only pure ecstasy!

In this flow, I may include Swara singing, brief Raga Alapanas, and perhaps even a spontaneous teaching moment that may arise on its own. I may also share with you some beautiful musical and spiritual insights along the way.

When I shared this concept with my Spiritual Guru, the name ‘Nisarga’ blossomed forth from His heart. My dear Smaran added ‘Lahari’ to it. My loved ones—Sadashivan, Devnath, Ganapathi Sir, Sheelakka, Sharanya, and Harinie—offered their loving encouragement and strength. From this spontaneity, the Lahari arises… and now, it is for you to immerse yourself in these waves and be entranced.
