The German producer has carved out a distinct space for himself in the house world, blending deep, bass-driven rhythms and atmospheric textures into music that's equally suited for both quiet reflection and the dance floor. But there’s no quiet reflection at this show, only impassioned dancing like a true rave. The performance highlights tracks like Afterglow, Breathing, and Closer, each showcasing a different side of Hoffmann's sound. Afterglow builds patiently with warm synths and understated momentum, while Breathing pairs some ethereal vocals with pulsing rhythms for a hypnotic feel. Following Breathing, notably his highest streamed track is Closer, a song that brings the set to an emotional high, balancing driving percussion with soaring melodies that give the track deep emotional impact. The layered production created an immersive live experience, balancing expansive soundscapes with deeply personal moments. Hoffmann’s Toronto fans hung on to every beat, dancing as if they were at Berlin’s infamous Berghain.
