🔑 KEY advice for attending An Poc Fada!
An Poc Fada (Irish for "long puck") is a unique Irish sport and annual championship, rooted in ancient Irish mythology- where hurlers and camogie players use a hurley to hit a sliotar (ball) up and over a mountain course in as few strikes as possible. Think Golf, but over a mountain with a hurl and a 5 km hike!
Running since 1960, the final is held annually on the Cooley Mountains in County Louth and will be happening again this August bank holiday weekend and it’s totally free to go support! Just make sure you come prepared! 😅
