Held in Nairobi from 9 to 10 February 2026, the Nairobi AI Forum 2026 convened more than 500 participants, including government leaders, technology innovators, private sector representatives, and development partners. Over two days of dialogue and exchange, the Forum advanced practical and scalable AI solutions across Africa, with a focus on strengthening collaboration, unlocking investment, and expanding access to critical AI infrastructure.
This momentum was driven by strong international cooperation. Organised by the Governments of Kenya and Italy, including the Embassy of Italy in Kenya, the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, the Ministry of University and Research, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme UNDP, the Forum demonstrated a coordinated commitment to advancing inclusive and responsible AI ecosystems.
