Of course with the J earning some track time this summer, I had to make the run and check out it's new America 250 inspired wrap, and see part of the route east of Staunton.
I was able to follow along for a few runs- starting fresh on Friday afternoon, part of Saturday, and briefly on Sunday morning.
The route was something different from the usual Goshen-Staunton trip, thankfully still retaining jointed rail, and allowing the J to scoot at track speed for a few locations. They let the engine work well on these trips, it was great to see and hear!
