I’m 45 and I’m not afraid to admit:
I haven’t figured out my life - and probably won’t, but it’s ok.
I don’t have my own home yet, but I like renting because it doesn’t “lock me down”.
There are days I feel I just exist without purpose, being an extra in my own life story.
I have very few friends and most of them live 2 to 8 hours away (by car or airplane).
I like spending time home alone, this is interweaved with my mental health.
The sudden loss of my partner , changed me.
The presence of my daughter kept me alive…
You can’t choose your family.
When I made mine, I dedicated myself to it.
My life’s not perfect,
But I’m still here…
