This comment made me realize a lot of us see marriage and parenting as if they’re competing for the same love.
I don’t believe they are.
My children are deeply loved.
My husband is deeply loved.
I don’t have to starve one relationship to feed another.
One of the greatest gifts I can give my children is letting them grow up watching two parents who genuinely love, respect, choose, and serve one another.
That’s the example I want to leave behind. 🤍
